#1.Drinking a lot of water

Summer comes up with a lot of dehydration issues better to drink at least 1 liter of water a day to keep your body hydrated. Other than this you can add detox water as well that will not only hydrate your body and skin but also detoxify your body from toxins.

#2. Keep Facial mist around

Facial mist is important as body mist as well, after showering it is important to feel moisturized and fresh, you can add facial mist as well to hydrate your facial skin, and will make you feel fresh at the same time. In the market, there are a lot of options for facial mist available with essential oil and their unique aroma. Better to add it to your regime and feel fresh, aromatic, hydrated, and moisturized throughout the day.

#3. Do not Abandon Moisturizers

As in summer our sebaceous lands work very well, and produce a lot of sebum, but that not means we should not add moisturizer to our skincare and body care routine. It is better to go for lightweight and non-greasy lotion and moisturizer that will make your skin hydrated and without feeling greasy to sticky.

In the market, there is a lot of variety of lotions and moisturizers available, which are nonsticky, non-greasy, and lightweight. Gel-form moisturizers and lotions are also available. You can also go for cucumber-based, aloe vera-based moisturizers that will not only hydrate your skin but also make you feel refreshed.

#4. Try a facial mask

Applying a facial mask is always good whether is winter, autumn, or spring. As in summer, it is suggested to use a facial mask once a week to keep your facial skin. There are different kinds of facial masks available with different kind of purposes:

Cream-based facial mask- This type of mask helps to reduce sunburn or sun-damaged skin and hydrate your facial skin to a deeper level, usually suggested to apply for 10-15 mins and raise it with water to see good results to can moisturizer after it as well.

So showering is the very first thing that makes us feel fresh, so usually recommend going for cold showers rather than hot showers as it has benefits like,

#6 Never forget sunscreen

Summer and sunscreen are so much interrelated, as in summer the uv rays are very much stronger it is highly suggested to wear sunscreen whether you are indoors or outdoors, it is not helps to prevent skin from sun damage but also gets you rid of a lot of skin issues.

#7. Cut back on exfoliation

In summer, we sweat a lot, which makes our skin moist, better not to use harsh chemical or manual exfoliators on your skin as it will make your skin more photosensitive or sensitive which will lead to redness and rashes to your skin.

Suggested using a mild exfoliator like salicylic acids and all, only once in a week.

#8 Beware of dark spots

Avoid going to the sun, as much as possible especially with a high uv index, as it will damage your skin, and can cause pigmentation, dark spots, and all.
