Introduction

Whether is summer or winter should we should have some specific type of skin routine in summer environment is a bit humid and in winter it's dry. Based on the fact that how your skin responds to season your skincare should be different. In summer usually, we need to hydrate more which also includes hydrating products in our skin-care routine. Here are tips to take take care of your skin in summer on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

#1.Daily basis skin-care routine in summer

  1. Hydrating Cleanser - As in the summer season weather is a bit humid, its better to use a hydrating cleanser, better to go for a gel-type mild cleanser rather than a foaming cleanser.

  2. Sunscreen 50 Spf- As in summer, we need to protect our skin from sun rays more as compared to winter or any other season, suggested to apply high Spf sunscreen, apply 20 min before going out, and recommended to follow it daily basis as well whether you are in indoor or outdoor.

3. Antioxidant serums - Adding antioxidant serum like Vitamin C or Retinol in your skincare also helps you to give a healthy glow to your skin. Try to layer up with your moisturizer and be consistent with it.

4. Moisturize- So nourishing your skin again is very much important as in summer we sweat as well, so our skin needs proper moisturizer as well.

#2. A weekly basis skin-care routine

  1. Change your pillowcases- So as while sleeping our facial skin will get in touch with pillowcases, so need to change it weekly basis to give proper hygiene to our facial skin, otherwise, it will lead to unwanted acne and all. Suggested using a silk pillow which will give a soft and supple touch to your facial skin and will not damage it.

  2. Exfoliation- On a weekly basis it is suggested to go for exfoliation to remove dead skin from your upper layer of skin. There are a lot of ways to do exfoliations like chemical or manual and all. Recommended to go for chemical exfoliation as compared to manual one as it will be more harsh to your skin and damage it even.

3. Use of face mask- Adding a face mask will nourish your skin, there are different types of face masks available in the market, lemon, tea tree, papaya, or any other fruits or refreshing facemask. It will help your facial skin to feel relaxed and rejuvenated at the same time.

#3. A monthly basis skin-care routine

  1. Visit your Esthetician for a Facial- Every month, it is better to go for facials, microdermabrasion, or micro-needling and all to make your skin look more youthful and healthy and it will help to have proper blood circulation in your facial skin.

2. Wash your sheets- As we need to change our pillowcases weekly basis it is suggested to have to change or clean your sheets as well. Remember you spend almost 8-9 hours in your bed so keep it clean and tidy as your skin will get in touch with it on a regular basis and if it is dirty it is not good for your skin as it will lead to different kinds of skin disorders.


3. Clean your makeup brushes- People who are using makeup on a daily basis, suggested cleaning it, as a lot of makeup residue, or dirt will get deposited on it, better to clean it on a monthly basis.
